About

Hello, my name is Danielle - but most everyone calls me Dani. I’m a brand strategist, writer, producer, musician, and rugmaker living and working in Chicago, Illinois.

I started my career as a brand strategist at Leo Burnett, diving deep into consumer research and cultural touchpoints to connect consumers to the MillerCoors brands. This work gave me the strategic foundation I craved and needed, but I wanted to expand. I wanted to be strategic and creative. This led me to my next position as a creative strategist for an agency called Limitless, where I blended strategy and creative to produce creative campaigns and events for clients like the NBA, Nike and Jordan Brand, including Draft Day 2019 events and All Star Weekend 2020. From there, I dove into the world of video production and scriptwriting at Deloitte Digital, where I wrote copy and produced content for brands like Pfizer, the United Negro College Fund, SoFi / SoFi Stadium, Lilly Pulitzer, LTK, American Express and more. After departing in Summer 2023, I now work as a freelance brand strategist and producer, most recently completing above-the-line campaign work at High Dive across Jeep, Frito-Lay and new business.

These days, I spend my time working on TikToks, my documentary film, seeking out mentorship and volunteer opportunities, and writing any and everything as a freelancer for agencies and brands.

My work explores popular culture and its impact on the self. I have a deep interest in projects that explore the intersections of identity, technology, innovation, culture, and relationships. Everything I create is borne of passion and human insight. If it’s not true, don’t run with it. If you don’t love it, don’t make it.

Let’s collab. Let’s be friends.
